Photo Hunting in Almaty

Photo Hunting in Almaty
I want to thank Samsung for holding this competition! This was an excellent opportunity for those who wanted to take photographs from every moment of their life and to show them to everyone. Samsung held a competition, named ФОТООХОТА (photo hunting), between students of eight universities in Almaty.  In this photography competition students were using the new Samsung Galaxy camera to take photos.
The Galaxy camera is the newest model camera which was recently released by Samsung.   The Galaxy camera takes quality pictures and allows you to send an SMS and MMS from this camera to be used on the internet, on Facebook and Vkontak.  You can also edit your photos at the same time with this Galaxy camera.
This competition was held for one week in which participants were given photography tasks to accomplish from Samsung. The tasks were like a conundrum (puzzle) and we had to solve this conundrum to find the place in the city to take a certain picture. It was very interesting for us, especially for me because my Russian is not good and I couldn’t help to my group mates for solving the tasks.  It was very memorable for me because I was introduced to new people and found new friends from my own dear academy. Gabit Abdimalik, Kambar Tleubergenov, Dauren Ospanov, Saule Muratova and Yasir Rashid (me) participated in this competition from KazGASA and we took many pictures from different places in Almaty. This competition ended after one week and the winners of this competition were the students from KazGASA. We were awarded with a camera for each of us. In reality this competition was very difficult and we tried to take the best photos for the pride of our academy. I want to congratulation my group mates Gabi, Kambar, Saule and Dauren, and want to say that we are proud of our academy (KazGASA) and all our friends who helped us in this competition. We think that it goes without saying that the Samsung Galaxy camera is the best camera that we have ever seen. Thanks so much from committee of young students (KCM) for their helping and we thank Samsung again for holding this competition!
